New (to me) switch from eBay, cost all of £5.00 inc postage… Gigabit on all ports and POE but just a bit different to the previous 3750's I had. In addition to the 24 (or 48) copper RJ-45, there are 4x SFP and an additional fastEthernet port intended for out of band management, no POE unsurprisingly. Also there is a Mini USB for serial as well as the RJ-45 serial console. This presents as /dev/ttyACM0.
