-Jottings on my work with some thrown out Ruckus access points. Previously I used a Cisco Access point, but it was 2.4GHz only and didn't support WPA2, just WPA1. I had tried replacing this with a Cisco 1262 but I found the IOS cli confusing to get the right SSIDs and passwords configured as I wanted with multiple SSIDs connecting to different trunks. I'll probably have another go as I quite like the Cisco kit.+Jottings on my work with some thrown out Ruckus access points. Previously I used a Cisco 1200 Access point, but it was 2.4GHz only and didn't support WPA2, just WPA1. I had tried replacing this with a Cisco 1262 but I found the IOS cli confusing to get the right SSIDs and passwords configured as I wanted with multiple SSIDs connecting to different trunks. I should really just try the Web GUI and give in to joining the point'n'click brigade for this. I'll probably have another go as I quite like the Cisco kit.

These came with firmware to work with an external controller rather than standalone, so the first job was to reflash them with the standalone firmware. So when I was offered two Ruckus 7363s I was interested to test how they worked, never really having heard of Ruckus before.
