IBM 2210 Router
Having used these a long time ago, I found that the admin password had been misplaced (OK, lost/forgotten...), following a tip off I found the following information from the IBM 2210 forum (www.networking.ibm.com):-
If you just want to recover the password without damage to the config, refer to following steps, 1. power off 2. connect router through console 3. power on 4. When there is -- on terminal, press Ctrl_C,enter service mode ">"กจ 5. key in "bc",choose "ibd", input the filename listed on terminal 6. router will load and enter config mode 7. now you can delete or add new user. If you just don't care about the previous config, you can reset it to factory using following steps, 1. power off 2. connect router through console 3. power on 4. When there is -- on terminal, press Ctrl_C,enter service mode ">"กจ 5. key in "cc" and confirm 6. key in "bc" and choose "ibd" to reboot To get to the forum, go to http://www.networking.ibm.com/support/products.nsf/techsupport/(2210)OpenDocumentMore should follow as soon as I can have a play again.
