| | FOH call:- Good evening ladies and Gents, tonights performance of XXX will start in 15 mins. |
| t-10 | Backstage 5 mins before showtime:- Ladies and Gents of the cast, 5 minutes to curtain up. |
| | FOH call:- Good evening ladies and Gents, tonights performance of XXX will start in 5 mins, please take your seats. |
| t-5 | Backstage beginners call:- "actors list" to your positions, Standby stage and tech crews |


====== Cans behaviour ======

Cues named Lx cue, Sound Cue & Stage cue, numberes LX Q 10 for example.

^ Cue ^ Purpose ^
| Quiet on cans | Too much chatter! All operators must be quiet unless there is a reason.|
| Standby LX Q 10 | response is "Standing by" to ensure you have acknowledged. |
| LX Q 10, Go! | Operator should reply if it is not obvious a cue has started, "Running" |
| Going off cans | Let everyone know you are not available for a short time.|

Note. Standby should be the first word of a cue instruction, and Go should be the last.
