+Where did windows 9 go? Reasons I can find include calling it "9" would get confused with 95 or 98 and cause software install errors, so because m$ can't write a regex to distinguish, they had to miss a version number.

 I'm forced to use windows at work for now, at home I'm 100% Linux based, so writing about windows without risking comparing it to something much better is not easy.

 Well, at least have a fancy icon either for all directories or none. I thought the idea of icons was to distinguish directories and different file types? Where did consistency of case go for names too?

 Supposing you want to change a network setting, a network related icon would be where you would look wouldn't you? Maybe an ethernet or WiFi symbol? WRONG!! Nil points. Look for a picture of a computer monitor, and instead of finding display properties or something similar, you will find network settings. Logical or what! If you want to change your display settings, look for the Wifi icon. Just joking! Or maybe not.....
