Flash memory USB MP3 player.

In a recent sale, Maplin (www.maplin.co.uk) had a combined mp3 player (made by Prosound, model A26FA)and fm radio on offer, the radio was the deciding factor. I had been considering an Apple iPod but none of the models have a radio (Hint to Apple, bring out an iPod with DAB digital radio & I'll be one of your first customers). This player has the usual USB interface and a un-necessary driver disk if you are using anything other than windows. OS X mounts it on the desktop without problems, here's how to do the same for Linux:-

As a bonus, when the player is plugged in to a powered USB port, it charges the battery. One other thing I really like is the organic LED display, it is clear to read and attractive to look at.
